Being a professional pilot is challenging, with your license dependent on meeting CAAS's strict medical standards. Even a minor accident or medical issue can jeopardize your financial stability. Our insurance plan offers peace of mind, protecting you and your loved ones from financial risks, so you can fly without worry.
What is Pilot’s Loss of Licence Insurance?
Pilot’s Loss of Licence Insurance offers financial support to aviation professionals if their careers are cut short due to medical reasons. Our specialized team has been providing this insurance since 2004, initially to pilots of Singapore’s national carriers and now to all pilots holding a valid CAAS license.
What Does It Cover?
This insurance provides a lump sum payment of up to S$300,000 if your professional pilot license is permanently revoked by CAAS due to illness, accident, or death. The amount paid depends on the insured pilot’s age at the time of license loss or death.
Who is Eligible?
This insurance is available to pilots who:
- Hold a valid professional pilot license from the CAAS.
- Are Singapore citizens employed full-time as commercial pilots.
- Are non-citizens employed full-time by a Singapore-based airline, primarily working and residing in Singapore.
- Are not currently grounded.
- Meet the age criteria at the time of applying for insurance.
